Objetivos

1. To reflect on the importance of developing a student centered inclusive methodology in the CLIL classroom.
2. To explore ideas, materials and lesson plans that can be used as models for developing more materials.
3. To investigate ways of making art and drama part of cross curricular projects that recycle and connect key skills, language and concepts.
4. To explore ways of supporting students in acquiring and applying language structures and necessary vocabulary to carry out classroom projects.
5. To discover how investigation and creation can be used as a vehicle for language acquisition.
6. To use critical thinking strategies as part of the creative process.
7. To create a plan for a cross curricular activity/project that includes arts and crafts.

Justificación

Uno de los acuerdos adoptados con los centros de Educación Infantil y Primaria seleccionados para la implantación de la enseñanza bilingüe español-inglés fue el fomento de la participación del profesorado en actividades de formación específicas, según sus necesidades e intereses, para favorecer el correcto desarrollo de dicho programa bilingüe.

Es por ello que, desde esta Dirección Provincial, se oferta esta actividad con el objeto de cubrir las necesidades de formación del profesorado de infantil y primaria que preferentemente imparte docencia en los colegios bilingües.

5. Organizing and Scaffolding Language Aquisition (Explore a series of lesson plans which introduce art through stories)
6. How do Colours Feel? (Collecting and graphing data about how art makes us feel)
7. Problem Solving Through Design (Solve a problem using Bloom's Taxonomy)
8. Making a Magic Butteryfly (How would you adapt it for your students?)
9. Create your own lesson/activity.
